Open Letter to Cindy Sheehan

Hiya Cindy,

The impression I get from news reports is that you are feeling the pressure, big time.

No Need, Sister.

You could crawl into the grave with Casey tomorrow, and the peace movement would not die. You have done what you were called to do; fan a whole-lotta sparks into flame. You were the right woman at the right time, and God bless you for having the courage to do what you were called to do.

This war will fail, as it was built on lies; the worse kind of lies. Actually, you might say, a conspiracy of deception, the purpose of which was to throw our nation into an illegal, unjust war.

I may be a "Librul" but I do know that that, which is built on lies and fear, will never succeed.

My hunch is that you do what you do, at least in part, because it is the next best thing to being with Casey. Whatever all your motives are, you are an amazing woman; you and your Casey will always have a special part in our hearts.

We want you with us in D.C., but we don't expect you to be anything or anyone you don't want to be.

Listen up, Sister! No one expects you to carry the anti-war banner by yourself. There are many of us who knew this war was a huge hoax from day one. You can count on our support in D.C. and , I would bet, the support of new seers of the light, as well.

In the mean time, have someone around you who has been with you through thick and thin, someone who knows you better than you know yourself and who will call you on your BS. (We all have our share, and it all tends to emerge under stress)

So, Lighten up. and we will see you in D.C.

Think what you have seen in Crawford is really something; just wait; you ain't seen nothing yet, and neither has Bush.
