A maiming of the soul

It is hard to feel sorry for a woman who has a supertanker named after her, a woman whose IQ is probably nearly twice as high as most of the men she works with, a woman who if she wanted to change jobs would probably be offered three or four times what she is paid as the second most important official in the US Government.

How many times do we need to be reminded that IQ and wisdom are not synonymous?
How may PhDs have we seen who cannot seem to get in out of the rain, without help?
IQ is merely potential. The ability to acquire and process information effectively.
Acquired knowledge is not the same as wisdom, either. Narrow acquired knowledge, usually prevents wisdom from arising.
Wisdom takes many years of cooking acquired knowledge. It cannot, itself, be acquired from any University or other person. It must rise from within.
